Larry Burk MD has practiced and published papers in the diverse disciplines of musculoskeletal radiology, hypnosis and imagery, acupuncture, integrative medicine, energy psychology and parapsychology. He spent a year as a pioneering MRI researcher at the Pittsburgh NMR Institute before going to the University of Pennsylvania for a musculoskeletal radiology fellowship in 1986. His academic career in radiology focused on MRI of the knee and shoulder from 1987 to 2004, including faculty positions at Jefferson Medical College, Eastern Virginia Medical School and Duke University School of Medicine.
